Executive Education Programs in Strategic Management
The
Strategic Management Institute (SMI) conducts one and two day executive
education programs in the field of strategic management. Illustrated
below, our programs cover a number of topics. Each program is founded in
strategy theory, but is supported in substance with practical
applications. Our foundation course is Strategy Synthesis, offered in
alliance with our international partner, Strategy Academy. Principal’s
of the Strategy Academy, Bob de Wit & Ron Meyer are co-authors of the
strategy text (used by over 200 universities around the globe)
Strategy: Process, Content, Context – an International Perspective
by Bob de Wit & Ron Meyer (3rd edition, Thomson, 2004).
Strategy Profiler: The
Strategy Profiler is used as a critical component of our course work. It
is a comprehensive tool used to measure a person’s strategy-making
style. An individual’s preferred approach to strategic issues (strategy
perspectives) are analysed, compared with pre-selected peer groups, and
represented graphically. The Strategy Profiler is a type of personal
self-assessment that gives participants more insight into the
preferences they have when approaching strategic issues.
